What Is Foundation for Free Enterprise Education (Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week)?

The Foundation for Free Enterprise Education (FFEE) was established in 1979 with a mission to heighten the awareness of Pennsylvania’s youth about their future role in the American free enterprise system by delivering high quality and practical hands-on learning experiences. To carry out this mission, FFEE offers two internationally acclaimed youth economic education programs, Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) and the Stock Market GameTM (SMG), as well as the Speaker Series, which is an online career exploration and development library for students and educators. In 1980, FEEE was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) educational foundation, and today, FFEE is an approved Educational Improvement Organization under the Commonwealth’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Our Mission To heighten the awareness of Pennsylvania's youth about their future role in the American free enterprise system by delivering high-quality and practical hands-on learning experiences. Our Vision To be the recognized leader in providing quality learning opportunities that promotes the understanding of the link between personal freedom and economic opportunity. We remain focused on our mission and vision and we are committed to providing true value to all of our stakeholders. Our goal is to deliver innovative, unique, broad-based economic education that students cannot receive elsewhere - education that makes our students college ready, career ready, and life ready. Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW), the Stock Market GameTM (SMG), and the Speaker Series provide a strong foundation upon which students build the knowledge, skills, experience, and relationships that ultimately strengthen our state and nation.
