AAL USA's core competencies are: Modifications and Upgrades (Integration of Advanced Systems/Mission Equipment) Operations (ACMI Leasing: Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) Maintenance (Line and Heavy Maintenance Support, Inspections, etc.) Depot Support Activities (Overhaul, Heavy Repair, BDAR, RTS, etc.) Aircrew Flight Training (Ground School, Simulator, and Flight; Conversion/Refresher) Maintainer Training (Conversion, Familiarization, and Refresher) Flight Simulator Training, Development, and Procurement (Including NVG modification) Procurement of Spare Parts, Special Tools, and Test Equipment Repair of Repairables (Including Component Overhaul) AAL is fully certified to conduct all of the above services on the Mi-8/17 series of aircraft under the authority of multiple agencies. AAL is licensed by the aircraft's OEM and Design AuthorityMil Moscow Helicopter Plant (MMHP) and the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC). Our operations do include other helicopters as well, through our South African affiliate office we operate a fleet of AS-365 helicopters. All of AAL's maintenance, depot services, operations, and training are further certified by various Civil Aviation Authorities and organizations to include the US DoD, and governments of Ukraine, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Colombia- to name a few.
