What Is Ozark Aeroworks?

Ozark Aeroworks, LLC (OAW) is a veteran-owned small business with big experience. After more than 39 years of involvement in the T53 series engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry, OAW’s CEO, Ken Essary, decided to start his own shop--located in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri. Ken isn't the only highly experienced person at OAW. Our team of about 19 technical staff members has clocked more than 500 years of combined aviation maintenance experience! In addition to our extensive experience, OAW is an FAA Part 145 Certificated Repair Station and a Honeywell Authorized T53 Engine Service Center. We serve multiple industry segments including commercial and military clients. In October 2014, OAW partnered with Mike O’Reilly, Owner/Chairman of Eagle, Ltd. Eagle has been an industry leader in the helicopter MRO and leasing business since 1973. This synergy made the new partnership a perfect fit. Eagle has since relocated its T53 engine MRO tooling, equipment, and test cell to the OAW facility—further enhancing and expanding OAW’s capabilities, offering customers a dynamic duo built on exceptional quality, extensive capabilities, and strong reputations. At the beginning of 2017, OAW expanded its reach to include machining and welding capabilities, along with becoming a Triumph Engine Control Systems approved service center. These features, in addition to our already proven NDT/NDI lab, offer customers even more in-house production expertise. We know what it takes to be a premier T53 engine MRO provider. Our customers are our priority, and we deliver the benchmark service they deserve. Ozark Aeroworks prides itself on being a facility with complete and extensive capabilities locally, as well as providing field service worldwide. We look forward to partnering with you to meet your T53 series engine needs.
