Inclusion, Independence, and Economic Vitality for People with Visual Disabilities Washington State Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) provides training, counselling, and support to help Washington residents of all ages who are blind or visually impaired pursue employment, education, and independent living. DSB offers children and youth who are blind or have low vision with services to grow a productive, independent and successful adulthood. We help aging adults facing issues of vision loss receive the skills to get them back into the life activities they love. DSB provides people who are blind or have low vision and want to work with support to help them find or keep a job. DSB is also a resource for businesses – helping them to recruit and retain skilled talent and providing information about disabilities and the workplace.
